Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before ordering any product. By accessing www.glabpackaging.com, the user (hereinafter referred to as "User" and "Registered User") agrees to respect and comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you must refrain from using and making any purchase through www.glabpackaging.com.

GLAB PACKAGING reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, so please check this page periodically.

By placing an order through this website, and upon acceptance, a distance selling contract will be concluded between the consumer and GLAB PACKAGING, in accordance with Decree-Law no. 24/2014, dated February 14.

1. Commercial Policy

1.1 The term "Seller" refers to GLAB PACKAGING, which offers products for sale on the website www.glabpackaging.com.

1.2 The term "Buyer" refers to the individual or company who accepts the seller’s quotation for the sale of goods or whose order for the goods is accepted by the seller;

1.3 GLAB PACKAGING reserves the right not to process orders received from users who do not comply with these general terms and conditions.

1.4 These General Terms and Conditions of Sale solely govern the offer, transmission, and acceptance of orders made at www.glabpackaging.com between the buyer of the GLAB PACKAGING online store and the seller.

1.5 The "Buyer" must provide the "Seller" with a correct and complete email address or other relevant contact information. The “Buyer” acknowledges that the "Seller" may contact him using such information if deemed necessary.

2. How to Order

2.1 To place an order at www.glabpackaging.com, it is necessary for the user to have an email account and for the browser to be configured to accept cookies and pop-ups, ensuring the utilisation of all navigational features on the GLAB PACKAGING online store.

Ordering at www.glabpackaging.com is simple:

  1. Find the products you want to purchase.
  2. Add these products to the cart.
  3. Complete the purchase.
  4. Select the delivery and payment option.
  5. Review your order.
  6. Proceed with payment and confirm the order. 
  7. You will receive an order confirmation by email.

Your order is confirmed when you select the "Confirm Payment" button (Checkout) at the end of the purchase process. Once GLAB PACKAGING receives your order, a message will appear on the screen with your order number and all the details, finalising the purchase agreement. An order confirmation is also sent to your email.

2.2  Right to refuse or cancel orders
GLAB PACKAGING reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. We also reserve the right to cancel any purchase (even if it has already been accepted by us), in the following situations (among others), without liability for any damages or costs:

  • The product is no longer available or in stock (payments will be refunded);
  • The billing information is incorrect or unverifiable;
  • Insufficient guarantee of payment;
  • Suspected fraudulent order placement;
  • Relevant pricing or product description error;
  • Inability to deliver to the provided address.
  • Images for personalised products that are corrupted, technically unsupported, or inadequately pixelated;
  • Breach of any of these Terms and Conditions;

In such cases, we will inform you by email that the sales contract has not been established, and the seller has not proceeded with the sale, specifying the reasons for doing so.

3. Warranties and Product Price Indication

3.1 Payment Methods

You can find the available payment methods in the Payments & Shipping section of the website. We accept only the payment methods mentioned therein. Please refrain from attempting to pay by any other means. We will not be liable for any loss of payment or other damages that may occur if you do so.

3.2 Payment Processing

If you choose to pay by Credit Card, we will deduct the amount due from your account as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. For Credit Card payments, all details (such as card number or expiration date) will be transmitted via encrypted protocol to the company providing remote electronic payment services, with no access granted to third parties.

This information will be used solely by GLAB PACKAGING for the necessary purchase procedures or refunds in the event of returns, according to the exercise of the right of return, or for reporting fraud to the authorities.

The purchase price of the products and transportation costs, as indicated in the order form, will be charged to your account when the purchased products are shipped.

4. Order Security

4.1 The www.glabpackaging.com store uses the most robust security technology available among encryption platforms.

Your payment information will be encrypted from the moment you enter it until your transaction is processed and will not be stored on a public server. Although we employ encryption software, we cannot guarantee the security of information and payments transmitted over the Internet or via email.

GLAB PACKAGING shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of electronic means of communication, including, but not limited to, recurring damages due to failures or delays in the delivery of electronic communications, interceptions or manipulations of electronic communications by third parties, or by programs used for communication or transmission of viruses. Payments can only be processed if the billing information can be verified.

5. Reservation of Property

5.1 GLAB PACKAGING retains ownership of the company's products until it has received full payment for all of these products, including payment for costs associated with product delivery.

6. Prices

6.1 Prices for products displayed on the website include Value Added Tax (VAT). Shipping rates are applied per order. The exact price of the shipping charge will depend on the country in which your order will be delivered.

6.2 All prices are quoted in euros. Please note that changing the delivery country may affect prices due to transportation costs.

6.3 Total price

The total price specified in the final checkout menu includes taxes and shipping costs. Prices are quoted at the time of order confirmation, which you can print or download for future reference. Please only pay the exact amount specified in the order confirmation and make individual payments per order.

6.4 Price changes

The prices of the products presented on the site are subject to change. GLAB PACKAGING reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The prices displayed at the time of purchase are the prices applied to that purchase.

6.5 Price Errors

Please note that despite our careful updating of the website, errors in price information may occur. GLAB PACKAGING does not guarantee the accuracy of the prices and reserves the right to cancel your order in the event of such an error.

7. Quality and Guarantee

7.1 GLAB PACKAGING does not sell second-hand, defective, or substandard products. The main features of each product shown at www.glabpackaging.com are detailed on each product page.

Products offered for sale on www.glabpackaging.com may not precisely match the actual product in terms of image and colour due to variations in Internet browsers and monitors used.

If you decide to exercise the right to return the products purchased, GLAB PACKAGING reserves the right to refuse the return of products that are returned without the label or that have been altered from their original condition or damaged.

8. Shipping and Delivery

8.1 Delivery: where and when

We deliver products from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 6 pm, excluding certain holidays. Delivery is available only to residential addresses, offices, or designated pickup locations within the countries listed in our Payments and Shipping section.

Please ensure someone is available to receive the order at the specified address, as our service does not include scheduling or appointment options. Delivery will be made without prior contact by the carrier. Please note that delivery times may vary during promotional periods, sales, Christmas, and stock breaks.

A delivery is considered complete and a product is deemed delivered upon obtaining the recipient's signature on the delivery receipt at the agreed-upon address.

8.2 Delivery Time

If you confirm your order on a business day by 1 pm and pay via Paypal or bank transfer, your order will be shipped the next business day (weekends and holidays are not considered business days). If you choose to pay by Multibanco, shipping may take longer, as we will ship your order only after receiving the payment.

GLAB PACKAGING shall not be liable for non-compliance or delays in performance resulting from events of force majeure, defined as events, acts, or omissions beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event includes any event, act, or omission beyond the Seller's reasonable control).

While we strive to deliver on time to the best of our ability, we cannot guarantee timely delivery.

8.3 Partial Deliveries

While we aim to deliver orders in a single shipment whenever possible, we reserve the right to split the delivery if necessary, such as in cases of delays or unavailability of certain items. Should we decide to split the order, customers will be notified via email using the address provided during purchase.

8.4 Inspection upon Delivery

Upon delivery, customers are required to inspect the packaging for any damage. If any products are found to be damaged, customers should refuse delivery of the order. GLAB PACKAGING will refund the amounts paid for the order and transportation as soon as the warehouse receives and completes the return process.

Any complaints regarding non-receipt of an order must be submitted within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of the order. After this deadline, GLAB PACKAGING cannot be held responsible for any losses.

8.5 Delivery to Pickup Points

We offer delivery to selected pickup points, which you can choose when selecting your shipping method during checkout. Simply enter the postal code or city where you'd like the delivery to be sent. Upon confirmation, you'll receive a unique code via SMS/EMAIL, ensuring the security of your order and enabling you to collect it from the chosen pickup point. Order status updates will be sent to you via email/SMS.

Please note that we are only responsible for deliveries to pickup points requested directly on our website through the respective shipping method.

8.6 Shipping Fees

Shipping rates are applied per order, and the exact price of each shipment depends on the delivery country, as well as the volume and weight of the order. For detailed information about shipping prices per country, please refer to the Payments & Shipping section on our website.

8.7 Free Shipping

If the customer's order value exceeds the minimum or reaches the maximum value defined for their country or campaign, shipping will be provided free of charge.

9. Returns and Cancellations

9.1 Cancellation of Orders Before Shipment
Customers may cancel an order as long as it has not yet been shipped. To initiate a cancellation, customers should first check the status of their order in their customer area under the "My Orders" option in the upper right corner of the main page of the website. If the order status is "Registered," there is a possibility it can still be cancelled. However, customers should contact our Customer Service and request a cancellation. Only after this process can our Customer Service Department request the cancellation from our warehouse.

If the cancellation request is successful, customers will be notified via email, and the cancellation will be processed at no additional cost. If we are unable to cancel the order, customers should refuse to accept the delivery. Upon return of the products, a refund will be processed.

Orders containing personalised products cannot be cancelled once customisation has begun, as this process starts immediately upon order receipt. However, customers can initiate a return following the conditions and guidelines outlined below.

9.2 Return of Defective Products
Customers have the right to return delivered products if they are found to have defects or other nonconformities. Returns can be made within 14 working days of order receipt without affecting your statutory rights. If your claim is valid, both the product price and shipping costs will be refunded. For detailed instructions on how to proceed with returns and information regarding refunds, please refer to the Exchanges & Returns section on the website.

9.3 Return of Products by Withdrawal
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the products you ordered, you may return them within 14 calendar days of receipt, provided that:
The products have not been used;
The products retain their original characteristics and the packaging is not damaged (carefully opened containers will not be considered damaged);
The products are complete;
The products are without add-ons attached.

You cannot return:
Products that have been tampered with;
Custom products.

9.4 Return of Gifted Products
It is not possible for a person who has received a product as a gift from another person to return it. In this case, to initiate a return, you must contact the person who purchased it to arrange the return according to the Return Conditions.

9.5 Product Exchange or Size Change
To exchange an item for another or to change its size, please follow the steps outlined in the Exchanges & Returns section.

9.6 Return Information
If your return is justified by a defect or non-conformity with the products ordered, GLAB PACKAGING will bear the costs of shipping and return. If your return is for reasons other than a justified defect or non-conformity of the ordered products, GLAB PACKAGING will not reimburse the shipping costs. However, you will be using our carrier for the return. Since the costs incurred by GLAB PACKAGING for the return are equal to the initial shipping costs, GLAB PACKAGING will not reimburse the expenses related to the charges initially borne by the customer for the respective order.

Refunds will be made based on the original form of payment. If the customer made a payment by ATM reference, it is necessary for the customer to provide their bank details to our Customer Service team at the beginning of the return process. This information is required so that we can refund the money to your account. The customer will receive the refund after the products have been returned and processed.

10. Conditions Applicable to Promotional Codes (Discounts)

10.1 When used according to the established rules, a promotional code entitles the user to a promotion or discount for the purchase of a specific product or a set of products, during the period indicated or associated with the promotional code or promotional campaign.

10.2 Promotional codes may only be used for online purchases made on the website. The sale, exchange, or donation of a promotional code is not allowed. The customer carrying the promotional code cannot upload or make the promotional code available on any website or other public forum for offering, donation, sale, or exchange. The use of promotional codes for commercial purposes is not allowed.

10.3 The promotional code is connected with the GLAB PACKAGING brand. You may not use the promotional code in connection with another brand, company, or name. It is also not allowed to use the promotional code in an illegal, abusive or disrespectful manner, or in any other way that could damage the reputation of GLAB PACKAGING.

10.4 The promotional code is limited to one use per product and per order only. Promotional codes cannot be combined with any other promotions or special offers.

10.5 Promotional codes are not exchangeable for cash.

10.6 GLAB PACKAGING has no obligation to reissue or refund promotional codes. However, if GLAB PACKAGING decides to reissue or refund a promotional code, you will need to have access to the initial promotional code. Therefore, you should keep a copy of your promotional code, as it cannot be reprinted or replaced in case of loss.

10.7 In cases where GLAB PACKAGING reissues or refunds a promotional code, the discount can only be applied to a purchase of equal or greater value than the original purchase in which the promotional code was issued.

10.8 Without prejudice to any other rights, GLAB PACKAGING reserves the right to immediately invalidate a promotional code if there is reason to suspect that it is being misused, or in the case of violation of the above conditions, fraud, or any other reason deemed appropriate by GLAB PACKAGING.

11. Availability

11.1 The satisfaction of all orders placed on the website is subject to availability. GLAB PACKAGING tries to ensure that all items offered for sale on the website are in stock. However, GLAB PACKAGING reserves the right not to accept any orders or to cancel orders already confirmed for products that are no longer in stock. In such cases, GLAB PACKAGING will inform the customer and refund the amount paid.

12. Validity of the Promotion

12.1 The offers on the site are valid only for the time they are displayed on the website unless otherwise communicated on the website. In case of mistakes, including spelling errors, pricing errors, or other inaccuracies in the information on the site, GLAB PACKAGING is not bound by any offer. GLAB PACKAGING reserves the right to cancel any purchase made under such errors.

13. Liability

13.1 GLAB PACKAGING shall only be liable for damages suffered by the customer if such damages result from breaches attributable to GLAB PACKAGING’s contractual obligations to the customer or if GLAB PACKAGING’s liability arises from applicable legal rights.

13.2 In the event that the customer has suffered damages related to the activity of the site, GLAB PACKAGING’s liability will be limited to:

  • Product damages or other material damages;
  • Reasonable and verifiable costs incurred by the customer to ascertain the cause and amount of compensation attributable to the damage;
  • The maximum reimbursement of the aforementioned compensation shall be, if applicable, the price of the products concerned.

13.3 GLAB PACKAGING shall not be liable for damages suffered by third parties resulting from the use of any of our products. GLAB PACKAGING cannot be held liable for damages suffered by the customer as a result of improper use of our products.

13.4 GLAB PACKAGING shall not be liable for damages resulting from incorrect information on the website.

13.5 In the event that the customer sustains damages resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of GLAB PACKAGING, none of the limitations set forth in this article shall apply.

14. Applicable Law and Competent Court

14.1 These general conditions and all arising disputes related to these general conditions, including their validity, the use of the site, or any purchase made, must be governed by Portuguese law, in accordance with Decree of Law nº 24/2014, of 14 February.

15. Changing Terms & Conditions

15.1 GLAB PACKAGING reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time. The relevant changes will be duly notified to customers registered in the Reserved Area. The customer is subject to the principles and terms in force at the time of order unless the law or competent authority imposes any changes thereto.
